History of Little League in Saskatchewan

Little League in Saskatchewan:

The first Little League was chartered in Saskatchewan in 1964 in Moose Jaw.

Kiwanis National Little League (KNLL) was chartered in Regina in 1987.

North Regina Little League (NRLL) was chartered in 1988 due to rising numbers of players in Little League in the city with play commencing that year at Kinsmen Park.

The Saskatoon Riversdale Kiwanis Little League (SRKLL) was chartered in 2003.

Last year there were 1,820 players between the ages of 6 and 18 from Saskatchewan chartered with Little League Canada. Combined, these teams played over 2,500 games in league, playoffs and tournament play throughout Saskatchewan, Alberta and other Canadian cities.
