Game # 1 - D1 - Sask (21) vs. D3 - Calgary (5) - FINAL
Saskatchewan beat Calgary Centennial 21-5 in 5 innings. Winning pitcher for Sask. was Brenden Banerjee. Taking the loss for Calgary was Jimmy Underdahl. Taylor Baker led the offense for Sask going 3-5 with 5 RBI's. Saskatchewan advances to tonights game at 6:00 vs Calgary (D8).
Game # 2 - D2 - Edmonton (14) vs. D1 - Lethbridge (1) - FINAL
Edmonton jumped out to an 11-0 lead in the first inning and won 14-1 in 5 innings. Winning pitcher for Edmonton was Taylor Thomas and the losing pitcher for Lethbridge was Cruz Whitehead. For Edmonton, Daniel Knopp led the offence going 4-4 with 2 RBI and 2 runs scored. Peter Quenneville hit an RBI triple.
Game # 3 - D1 - Sask (18) vs. D8 - Calgary (2) - FINAL
Saskatchewan won 18-2 in 5 innings. Sheridan Davis got the win throwing 7 strikeouts over 3.3 innings. Dylan Tran closed the game. Losing pitcher for Calgary was Connor Rodewald. Saskatchewan moves on to meet Edmonton in the A-final.
Tuesday, July 28
Game # 4 - D3 - Calgary (7) vs. D1 - Lethbridge (8) - FINAL
Lethbridge scored 8 runs in the bottom of the 7th inning to defeat Calgary 8-7. Winning pitcher was Ashton Anderson for Lethebridge with Dylan Faulkenham taking the loss for Calgary. Raymond Martens drove in the winning run. For Calgary Brody Norton had a 2 RBI inside the park home run.
Game # 5 - D2 - Edmonton (6) vs. D1 - Sask (5) - FINAL
Edmonton came back from down 5 runs to win 6-5 in an extra inning. Nelson Nolan scored the winning run in the bottom of the 8th on a wild pitch. Taylor Thomas started the game for Edmonton with relief from Peter Quenneville and finally Dan Knop to pitch the last 3 innings and pick up the win. Jeremy Zver took the loss for Saskatchewan.
Game # 6 - D1 - Lethbridge (13) vs. D8 - Calgary (3) - FINAL
Lethbridge won 13-3 in five innings. Michael Houghton (WP) and Anthony Malinowski combined for a 1 hitter against Calgary. Devin Scriven-Williams led Lethbridge with a single, double & inside the park Home Run, with 5 RBI. Graydon Carruthers took the loss for Calgary.
Wednesday, July 29
Game # 7 - D1 - Lethbridge (0) vs. D1 - Sask (10) - FINAL
Saskatchewan defeated Lethbridge 10-0 in 6 innings. Brandon Banerjee got the win and combined with Dylan Tran for a no hitter (1 walk, 1 error). Dylan Tran went 2-2 with 3 RBI. Taking the loss for Lethbridge was Braydyn Gerber.
D3 - Calgary (10) vs. D8 - Calgary (0) - FINAL
Calgary Centennial (D3) defeated Calgary (D8) 10-0 in five innings. Dylan Faulkenham threw a no hitter for the win (1 walk, 1 error). Jimmy Underdahl led the offense with a 2 run Home Run. Jeremy Gudzowsky took the loss for D8 - Calgary.
D3 - Calgary Centennial (8) vs. D1 - Lethbridge (10) - FINAL
In the consolation final for 3rd place Lethbridge defeated Calgary (D3) 10-8 in 8 innings. Cruz Whitehead was the winning pitcher while Adam Bader took the loss for Calgary. Ashton Anderson went 2-3 with 3 RBI to lead Lethbridge.
Thursday, July 30
Game # 8 - D2 - Edmonton (5) vs. D1 - Sask (11) - FINAL
Saskatchewan defeated Edmonton 11-5 to force a second game. Winning pitcher for Saskatchewan was Sheridan Davis. Taking the loss for Edmonton was Peter Quenneville. Quenneville hit a home run with 2 RBI. The Saskatchewan bats came alive in the 6th inning scoring 9 runs. Tyler Bird was 3-4 (2 RBI) and Taylor Baker was 3-5 (2 RBI) to lead the team.
Game # 9 - D2 - Edmonton (0) vs. D1 - Sask (14) - FINAL
Saskatchewan won 14-0 behind the pitching of Jeremy Zver who pitched 6 2/3 innings, 3 hits, 1 walk and 9 strike outs. Dylan Tran came on to get the last out. Leading Saskatchewan offensively was Tyler Bird (4-5, 3 singles, double), Dustin Wilyman (3-4, triple & 2 RBI), Cooper Toppings (3-5 with 2 RBI). Saskatchewan advances to Saint John, NB for the Canadian Championship.
